We are holding the wedding ceremony at Anne's family home on the water. The seating will be on grass so please consider flat bottom footwear for this part of the evening.
One thing Anne misses from the East Coast/New England is the changing of the leaves. October is the height of the season. We recommend if you have extra time you consider a few days in Vermont/New Hampshire or Maine.
Despite the temperature, we highly recommend going out for a whale watch. Several of the guests who have visited us will tell you it is well worth it. If you want to coordinate a trip please call Outermost Harbor Marine (508) 945-2030 and ask for Drew or Devin.
We have been asked by some about our registry which is below including charities we support. We want to say thank you again to those who have been so generous as we start our home together. Our gift is sharing our special day with you.
We are excited to start the weekend with Welcome Drinks on Friday night. Please send us an email if you think you can make it so we can tell Wequassett numbers. Please use popkinanne@yahoo.com
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to help!
Thank you for helping us build our home.

Chatham and nearby Harwich have lovely choices of hotels and inns for all different price ranges. We will be getting more information out but given the month of October remains a busy time in Chatham, Paul and I want to get you some options right away:
1) Chatham Bars Inn - (508) 945-0096
2) Wequassett Resort and Golf Club - (508) 432-5400
3) Chatham Inn - (508) 945-9232
4) The Old Harbor Inn - (508) 945-4434
5) The Chatham Wayside Inn - (508) 945-5550
6) Queen Anne Inn - (508) 945-0394
7) Greyfinch Chatham Inn - (877) 934-7809
While October will not be as bad as the summer, it will still be busy. The town does not have enough restaurants to meet the demand. We recommend making reservations before arriving several weeks in advance as you can always make adjustments when you arrive.
Nighttime
CHATHAM -
1) Chatham Inn Cuveé- also good for a drink
2) Blue Fin Sushi
3) The Wild Goose Tavern
4) The Chatham Bars Inn - also good for a drink beside the veranda
5) Chatham Cut - Hard to imagine a beef meal as a recommendation in a seafood town but this one stands up
6) Piscese
7) Mac's Seafood - from lobster rolls to clam bellies (see below)
DENNIS -
1) Ocean House
2) The Pheasant - absolutely worth the drive - award winning
Daytime
1) The Squire - This is not a place to be missed and likely not a place you will forget as it is a hometown bar. And we mean down-home bar with bras on the ceiling and a juke box. On the restaurant side they do have good clams but of course as it is Chatham.
2) The Chatham Pier Fish Market - some people swear by Mac's but Anne is a long time supporter of the fish pier with the smell of the gulls off the water. There are only picnic tables but there is an authentic feel with fishermen and a deck to watch the fishing boats.
3) Mac's Chatham Fish and Lobster - Paul's favorite lobster joint, not the least because he can get a 2 1/2 pound lobster. Great clam bellies and clam chowder too.
4) Breakfast - Larry's PX - think down and dirty dinner
5) Impudent Oyster - good atmosphere and old time Chatham. There is a bar where one can sit too. Good seafood and pasta. Large portions. Good for dinner at a reasonable price.
